When you first think about Barcelona, you think about extravagance, high prices, expensive life and lots of tourist. All that is true, in Barcelona you can find the most glamorous, fancy and expensive things but believe it or not you can also enjoy a nice vacation that doesn´t involve so much money. Barcelona can also be a perfect getaway vacation for students that want to relax after the exams or for the ones that just want a break. It is known that the most of the students prefer the cheap destinations, where they can camp and spend at less money is possible. 

Barcelona is one of those places that you can want to visit, without paying a lot of money and enjoy in the same time. You will be about to spellbound by the beauty that Barcelona has to offer. One of the first things that you want to know is that you might want to visit the Catalan capital in the first Sunday of the month. Only because the admission to numerous museums is free. Still, you want to arrive earlier because of the queue. Besides that, some of the most affordable places are: Montjuic mountain and the magic fountain are the main attractions around Barcelona, and you will see an amazing spectacle of color, light, motion and music. 

Other places that you must see are La Rambla, one of the most famous streets in Europe. It is a very touristic place, known for the human statues, the multitude of souvenirs, street performers and music.  Sagrada Familia is an imposing cathedral build by Gaudi himself, La Boqueria is a very colorful place, where you can taste the most traditional food in Spain and enjoy in the same time a very new and colorful place. 

Picasso Museum is another master piece of the city that has millions of visitors during the year. Even if the museum has an entrance fee, if you come in the first Sunday of the month you can enter for free.  Besides the things that you have to visit being in Barcelona, as a student you don´t have to miss the night clubs and enjoy the night life here. You have to know that Barcelona is very popular for the night life, the most of the students are spending their free time on the beach and have fun in the evening in one of the many clubs here. If you are looking for an enjoyable nice vacation you might want to look for a convenient and affordable place to stay, near the center of Barcelona, be able to see all the good things of the city.
